A real Walmart haul: 14 items worth $62.34 at original prices, down to $6.48 after rebates. The trick is that a $5 Ibotta bonus required 15 rebate submissions — and buying multiples of the same deal counts toward it, so this haul cleared 15 with only 7 different products.

This one is a real haul, not a theoretical list. Nick walked into Walmart, paid $30.55 at the register, and after rebates landed at $6.48 for $62.34 of product — a savings of $55.86, or 89.61% off.

But the actual lesson here isn't the products. It's how he cleared a $5 Ibotta bonus that required 15 rebate submissions using only 7 different deals.

Most people see "submit 15 rebates" and assume they need to find 15 separate products. You don't. If a rebate has a limit above 1, every time you redeem it counts as another submission toward the bonus. Buy 5 Cheez It multipacks with a limit-5 rebate and that's 5 submissions, not 1. This haul is built on that mechanic, and it hits exactly 15.

🎯 The Strategy: Clearing 15 Rebates With Only 7 Deals

This is the part worth learning, because it applies to every Ibotta bonus you'll ever get.

Nick had a $5 bonus for completing 15 rebates. Here's how the 15 broke down across just seven products:

Two mechanics did the heavy lifting:

Multiples count separately. The Cheez It rebate alone delivered a third of the bonus requirement, because buying 5 at a limit-5 offer submits 5 rebates. Check the limit on every offer you clip — that number is your multiplier.
Two rebates can stack on one item. The Arm & Hammer detergent took a $2 brand rebate AND a $0.10 "Any Laundry Detergent" category rebate on the same bottle. That's two submissions from a single purchase, and it also dropped the net price from $1.84 to $1.74. The Cheez It is the single most efficient buy here. Five multipacks for $6.25 gets you 50 snack bags at about $0.13 each and five rebate submissions. Nothing else on the list does that much work.
The two clearance deals are the risk. GoGo at $1.00 and Cheez It at $2.00 are markdowns, so they vary store to store and disappear fast. If your store doesn't have them, you lose the moneymaker and 7 of your 15 rebate submissions — have backup offers clipped.

Everything here except the yogurt keeps. Detergent, scent beads, crackers, seasoning, and Hot Pockets all store fine, which is what makes buying multiples for a bonus sensible rather than wasteful.
