If this is your first DG dual-coupon Saturday, here is the playbook:

BOTH coupons are Saturday-only (7/25). They activate in the DG app on Saturday and expire the same day. Don't try to run these scenarios any other day.
DO NOT clip both coupons if you only want the $10/$40. If you clip both, the $5/$25 will apply first — the $10/$40 will be blocked. If you're planning a single big basket over $40, only clip the $10/$40.
You CAN run both in the same day — just do TWO separate transactions. Run the $5/$25 basket first, then the $10/$40 basket second. The $5/$25 will only fire on a basket that hits $25, so keep it under $40.
Subtotal after store discounts is what counts. The $25 / $40 thresholds are measured BEFORE manufacturer coupons and rebates, so DG-issued digital coupons on items in your basket still let you qualify even if your paid total is well below $25 / $40.
Clip every digital coupon in the DG app before you check out. If it's not clipped, it won't come off. This includes the store coupon itself and every manufacturer digital coupon layered on top.
