Walmart Deals 10/2: 19 Deals, 4 Freebies
19 Deals19 Walmart deals include four Social Nature freebies, $0.75 College Inn broth, and nine resets. The 22-package comparison basket is $54.32 before tax and $22.76 net using the supplied reward estimates. Hall Pass offers do not stack with Ibotta.
Walmart's 10/2 weekend breakdown has 19 deals, including four Social Nature freebies, College Inn broth for $0.75 each, and Carbe Diem pasta for an estimated $1.01 after Fetch rewards. Nine reset deals round out the list, led by Pedigree pouches at $0.41 each and Taco Bell seasoning at $0.54.
The main thing to know before shopping: do not stack the Hall Pass Social Nature offers with Ibotta rebates. This breakdown uses Social Nature alone for the three Hall Pass products, even if you see separate Ibotta offers.
Prices and offer amounts come from the supplied Walmart 10/2 breakdown. For video walkthroughs and more couponing tips, visit OhioValleyCouponer on YouTube.
Before You Shop
- Check Social Nature first: Make sure Ghost and each Hall Pass product have an eligible offer in your account. The four-freebie count assumes four qualifying redemptions, not that one offer can be reused for all four products.
- Do not double-claim Hall Pass: The source explicitly says Social Nature does not allow other rebates to be combined with these offers. No Hall Pass Ibotta rewards are included in the math.
- Activate Walmart Cash before buying: Gain and Dawn use Walmart Cash, not Ibotta in this plan. Match the exact product and buy the required quantity.
- Check reset availability: A reset reported in the breakdown may not have returned in every account. Look for each offer and its remaining redemptions before repeating a purchase.
- Expect to pay first: There are no checkout coupons in this list. The net prices reflect later reimbursements, Walmart Cash, and estimated point-redemption value.
- Verify local prices and deadlines: College Inn and Nutella use rollback prices. The source calls these weekend deals but does not give an exact end date, so check each offer's own expiration.
Fetch and BeFrugal dollar amounts below retain the supplied breakdown's estimates. They are not a claim that every point has a fixed cash value or that the same gift-card conversion applies to every line.
Quick App Legend
- Social Nature: Account-specific free-product rebates; follow the offer's receipt and redemption instructions.
- Ibotta: Add matching offers before shopping, then submit the receipt.
- Fetch: Receipt points valued toward rewards such as Walmart gift cards.
- BeFrugal: Receipt rewards, with the point value estimated from the supplied breakdown.
- Walmart Cash: Claim the product offer in the Walmart app before checkout; the reward is earned after the qualifying purchase.
- Rollback: The listed reduced shelf price, which can vary by store.

Before buying all three, confirm that your account provides a separate eligible redemption for each product. If your offer instead gives you a choice of only one Hall Pass item, buy the eligible choice and do not assume the other two will also be reimbursed.

A Note on Points and Estimated Net Prices
The source values 3,990 Carbe Diem Fetch points at $2.77, 350 Cesar points at $0.25, and 500 Pedigree points at $0.36. Those amounts are retained as supplied estimates, but they do not all imply one identical conversion rate.
College Inn similarly uses the source's $2.44 value for 2,448 BeFrugal points. Check the redemption options available to you rather than treating these estimated reward values as dollars taken off at the register.

Best Per-Unit Prices
The four Social Nature products are free before tax after approved reimbursement. Among the paid deals, these are the lowest net prices per purchased package using the source's reward estimates.
| Deal | Net Per Purchased Package | Quantity Needed |
|---|---|---|
| Pedigree Drizzlers Dog Food Pouches | $0.41 | 2 |
| Taco Bell Reduced Sodium Taco Seasoning Packet | $0.54 | 1 |
| Cesar Puppy Wet Food Trays | $0.58 | 1 |
| Yoplait Protein Yogurt | $0.62 | 1 |
| College Inn Chicken Broth, 32 oz | $0.75 | 2 |
| Bush's Sidekick Beans, 15 oz | $0.97 | 1 |
| Carbe Diem Pasta, 12 oz | $1.01 | 1 |
| Seventh Generation Free & Clear Dish Soap, 11 oz | $1.03 | 1 |
A multipack counts as one purchased package in these averages. For example, the four-pack of Scotties is one item in the basket count, while two individually purchased College Inn cartons count as two.
Full Deal Comparison
This comparison buys each of the 19 deals once at the listed quantity, for 22 purchased packages. It assumes all four Social Nature redemptions are available separately and all other offers qualify in your accounts.

| Taco Bell Reduced Sodium Taco Seasoning Packet | 1 | $0.94 | $0.40 | $0.54 |
| Yoplait Protein Yogurt | 1 | $0.97 | $0.35 | $0.62 |
| Bush's Sidekick Beans, 15 oz | 1 | $1.72 | $0.75 | $0.97 |
| Chi Chi's Hot Honey Salsa | 1 | $2.28 | $1.25 | $1.03 |

| TOTAL | 22 | $54.32 | $31.56 | $22.76 |
Pay $54.32 before tax for the comparison basket, then receive or redeem $31.56 in qualifying rebates, Walmart Cash, and estimated reward value. That leaves $22.76 net, or about $1.03 per purchased package.
The calculated reduction is approximately 58.1% of the listed prices, including the two rollbacks already shown. Original pre-rollback shelf prices were not supplied, so no additional retail-value savings are assumed.
Where the Savings Come From
Each offer is counted once. Social Nature receives the full credit for the four freebies, and the Walmart Cash offers are not duplicated as Ibotta rewards.
| Source | Amount |
|---|---|
| Ibotta | $12.60 |
| Social Nature | $8.14 |
| Walmart Cash | $5.00 |
| Fetch | $3.38 |
| BeFrugal | $2.44 |
| TOTAL | $31.56 |
These are different types of value: Social Nature and Ibotta reimburse qualifying purchases, Fetch and BeFrugal contribute the estimated point values used here, and Walmart Cash is a promotional balance. Do not assume the full total arrives as one cash payment.
How to Earn the Gain and Dawn Walmart Cash
The Gain pair earns $3 Walmart Cash and the Dawn bottle earns $2, for $5 total in this plan. Walmart says to claim each offer before checkout, then link the purchase to your account; newly earned Walmart Cash applies to future transactions, not the purchase that earned it (Walmart Cash FAQs).
- Sign in to the Walmart app and select “Get Walmart Cash” on each matching product offer.
- For Gain, buy two eligible 24.3 oz bottles; for Dawn, match the exact product shown in your offer.
- At checkout, scan the register's QR code with the Walmart app to connect your account. Using Walmart Pay is a straightforward way to link and complete the purchase.
- Complete payment, then check that the $3 and $2 rewards were credited.
If you forget to link the transaction at checkout, Walmart's FAQ says you can scan the receipt barcode in the app within seven days, provided the offer was claimed before checkout and has not already paid out (Walmart receipt instructions). Keep the receipt until you have confirmed the rewards.
Tips for This Weekend
- Start with the freebies you actually have: Check the Social Nature offers before buying Ghost or any Hall Pass product.
- Skip the Hall Pass Ibotta stack: The Social Nature reimbursements are the only rewards counted for those three items.
- Buy the required pairs: College Inn needs two cartons, Gain needs two bottles, and the Pedigree Fetch offer needs two pouches.
- Keep the Pedigree math straight: Two $0.25 Ibotta rebates plus $0.36 in Fetch value bring the $1.68 pair to $0.82, or $0.41 each.
- Check your reward tier: The $1.01 Carbe Diem net is based on the source's $2.77 Fetch estimate, not a universal point-to-dollar rate.
- Plan for the full checkout amount: Rebates and newly earned Walmart Cash do not reduce the shelf prices you pay for this trip.
- Submit receipts on time: Follow the actual deadline in each offer, not an assumed Sunday expiration.
