October 2026 Food Deals & Freebies to Grab

Plan October meals around $1 Cinnabon rolls, BOGO tacos, free fries with purchase, weekly pizza savings, and family offers with clear redemption dates.

October gets busy fast. Between school nights, weekend plans, and figuring out Halloween costumes, dinner can turn into whatever is easiest. I am all for an easy meal, especially when there is a decent deal attached.

This roundup keeps things simple: confirmed offers with dates that fall in October 2026, not last year's holiday specials dressed up as new deals. Some last several weeks, while others give you just one day to claim them. I checked the original offers on October 1 and these additions on October 2, so use the dates below rather than assuming everything lasts through Halloween.

Start with the places you already like, save a few reminders, and skip anything that makes you spend more than you planned. You can also browse DealSeek when you are ready to look for more savings.

National Cinnamon Roll Day Deals: October 4

A warm cinnamon roll feels like a pretty good way to start a Sunday. This is one of the first deals I would put on the calendar.

Cinnabon $1 Classic Roll: Cinnabon Rewards members can get one Classic Roll for $1, before tax, in participating bakeries on October 4, 2026, while supplies last; the limit is one per person, toppings may cost extra, and other offers or third-party delivery cannot be combined with it.
Cinnabon $1 small drink: On October 2 and 3, Cinnabon offers Rewards members one $1 small beverage with a qualifying baked-good purchase in bakery; packs do not qualify, and Chillattas, MochaLatta Chill, and bottled beverages are excluded.
Cinnaholic BOGO rolls: On October 4, buy one cinnamon roll and get one of equal or lesser value free at participating locations, in store only, with a limit of one free roll per person (confirmed 2026 offer details).

My pick would be the roll itself if you are keeping this trip cheap. Buying something extra just to unlock a discounted drink only makes sense if you wanted the baked good anyway.

National Taco Day Deals: October 6

If tacos are already in your dinner rotation, give yourself a break from cooking. These offers have a confirmed October 6 date, so there is no need to guess whether an old promotion is coming back.

Laredo Taco Company BOGO breakfast tacos: Buy one Potato & Egg Taco and get a second free on October 6 at participating Laredo Taco Company restaurants, with tax extra, according to 7-Eleven's announcement.
Laredo Taco Company BOGO chicken tacos: The same October 6 promotion includes buy one, get one free Chicken Fajita Tacos at participating locations, plus tax.
Moe's $2 tacos: Get up to three $2 tacos in store on October 6 by mentioning the offer, or use the single-use Moe Rewards offer October 6 through 11; premium proteins, extras, taxes, fees, other offers, and third-party delivery are excluded (Moe's terms).
Chuy's taco specials: On October 6, dine-in guests can add a crispy or soft ground beef taco to an entree for $1, or dress in a taco-inspired costume and post with #ChuysTacoDay for a free entree during that visit (Chuy's offer details).

I would choose whichever stop fits your day instead of trying to claim every offer. A breakfast pickup on the way to work is a better bargain than a separate drive across town.

For planning other outings, keep the DealSeek deal calendar handy. Use it as a reminder tool, then check the restaurant's own offer before ordering.

National Frappe Day: October 7

Bring a friend if a frozen coffee sounds good. There is a confirmed BOGO worth checking before you order.

Gregorys Coffee BOGO frappe: Gregorys Rewards members can buy one frappe and get one free on October 7 for National Frappe Day (Gregorys' fall announcement).

Check the reward and your location's instructions before paying. I have not verified a matching October 7, 2026, offer from McDonald's or Dunkin', so neither is listed as a confirmed Frappe Day deal here.

National Dessert Day: October 14

National Dessert Day falls on October 14, but that date alone does not guarantee a free treat. I have not verified 2026 holiday-specific offers from Dairy Queen, Krispy Kreme, or Crumbl yet.

The Cheesecake Factory dessert-month bonus: Buy $50 in gift cards online in one transaction October 1 through 25 and receive a $10 Bonus eCard, redeemable October 26 through November 22, 2026, subject to availability and the brand's terms.

This is a bonus for a later visit, not free dessert on October 14. Consider it only if you already plan to eat there, and note that the bonus cannot cover tips or be combined with another offer (redemption rules).

National Cheese Curd Day: October 15

This one is a snack stop, not an all-day meal deal. Set a reminder for the afternoon so you do not show up too early.

Culver's $3 cheese curds: Delicious Rewards members can get cheese curds for $3 from 4 to 8 p.m. local time on October 15, as confirmed in Culver's 2026 Curdtoberfest announcement.

I would get the rewards account ready before heading over. That way, you can spend the visit deciding what to eat rather than trying to remember an old password at the counter.

National Pasta Day: October 17

National Pasta Day lands on October 17, and a sit-down pasta dinner sounds like an easy weekend plan. Here is a confirmed fall promotion that covers the date, rather than a promised one-day freebie.

Olive Garden Never-Ending Pasta Bowl: The 2026 promotion runs August 31 through November 22, starting at $14.99 for unlimited pasta, soup or salad, and breadsticks, with protein toppings an additional $4.99 (2026 offer details).

Confirm your restaurant's price before visiting. I have not verified a 2026 National Pasta Day BOGO at Fazoli's, so I am leaving that claim out.

October App Deals and Quick Meals

Not every savings opportunity needs its own food holiday. These are the offers I would keep nearby for a rushed lunch, a quick breakfast, or a night when cooking is not happening.

McDonald's free medium fries, through October 4: McDonald's offers Rewards members free medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase once a week in the app at participating restaurants, excluding tax and McDelivery.
McDonald's $2 breakfast sandwich, through October 4: The official deals page also lists a once-weekly $2 breakfast sandwich offer for app users opted into Rewards, with choices including the Egg McMuffin and Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles, excluding tax and delivery.
7-Eleven $3 Roller Grill Meal Deal, through October 27: 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can get a roller grill item, a bag of 7-Select chips, and a large Big Gulp at participating stores.
7-Eleven $6 sandwich meal, through October 27: The same member promotion includes a hot sandwich and a 20-ounce Coca-Cola or Pepsi for $6 at participating stores.
Laredo Taco Company $5 meal, through October 27: The confirmed meal deal includes a chicken taco, a bean and cheese taco, a small side, and a Big Gulp at participating restaurants, plus tax.

The important thing here is the checkout total. Pick the meal that covers what you actually want, rather than starting with a low price and adding enough extras to double it.

Weekly Pizza and Wing Deals

For a couch-and-a-movie night or a game-day order, I would check these before paying full price. Both promotions have published dates that cover October.

Casey's Saturday pizza discount: Save 40% on any-size pizza with code TOUCHDOWN every Saturday through January 2, 2027, online, in the app, or in store, according to Casey's announcement.
Applebee's weekly free wings: Club Applebee's members who sign up for the NFL Season Wing Ticket receive a weekly code for six free Boneless Wings with a qualifying $15 online To Go order; codes work Sunday through Thursday, once weekly, during the promotion ending January 10, 2027 (Applebee's terms).

For Applebee's, order through its website or app, not a third-party delivery service, and remember that alcohol, gift cards, taxes, fees, and tips do not count toward the $15 minimum (offer details). I would use this on a meal I was already buying, rather than building an unnecessary order around the wings.

Kids Eat Free and Family Savings

Family dinner deals are where I pay extra attention to the rules. A free kids meal is only useful if the qualifying adult order works for your family, too.

Mellow Mushroom Tuesdays: Through October 27, participating restaurants offer up to two free kids meals for children 10 and younger with an adult purchase of at least $15, dine-in only (FSR's offer coverage).
Wendy's Boo! Books: Each $1 book includes five coupons for free Jr. Frosty treats and a coupon for a $1.99 Kids' Meal with purchase; books are sold through November 1, 2026, at participating U.S. locations while supplies last (Wendy's).

The Wendy's Frosty coupons require no additional purchase when redeemed in person and are valid through December 31, 2026, but cannot be used in mobile orders or combined with other offers (redemption rules). Keep the book somewhere you will remember it instead of letting it disappear into a drawer.

If you are balancing takeout with groceries and household shopping, browse our latest deal breakdowns before planning the week's spending. I would rather save across the whole budget than chase every restaurant promotion.

Halloween Food Deals: October 31

Plan dinner before the costumes go on. A shared meal sounds much easier than trying to cook between doorbell rings.

Moe's Halloween BOGO: Buy one eligible entree and get the lower-priced second entree free in store on October 31, or redeem the single-use Moe Rewards offer October 30 through November 1, 2026; both entrees must be in the order, and exclusions include Kids Meals, One Taco, Meal Kits, and Value Meals (Moe's Halloween terms).

Mention the offer in store or apply the reward at checkout online, and note that taxes and fees are extra, other offers cannot be combined, and third-party delivery is excluded (Moe's terms). I have not verified nationwide October 31, 2026, caramel-apple or candy discounts at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or Kilwins, so those are not promised here.

A Few Tips to Stretch Every October Deal

You do not need to download every restaurant app or turn every errand into a freebie run. A small list of offers you will actually use is enough. Before leaving, take a screenshot of your reward so you can quickly find its terms later.

Save the date: Put one-day offers in your calendar, with an alert before you leave home.
Check your location: Confirm participation and the displayed price before making a special trip.
Read the minimum: Build the qualifying order first, then check whether the reward appears before paying.
Watch the extras: Compare pickup with delivery, and leave room in your budget for tax and tips.
Skip the pressure: If a promotion does not fit your plans, let it go.
