This week at Kroger there are 19 deals worth grabbing, and 20 of the 25 items count toward the Mega Event. Ring it all up and you are at $62.25 on the shelf, $26.55 back in coupons and rebates, and $35.70 out of pocket at $1.43 per item.
The Mega Event is doing most of the work here. Fifteen of the 19 deals are Mega items, so you clear the 5-item minimum before you even think about it. The Reset Mega section is where the real prices are: Annie's at $0.74 a box, Klondike bars for $1.05, and Pringles at $1.12.

Before You Shop
- Clip your digital coupons in the Kroger app first. The Weekly Digital Deals and the 5X Digital coupons are Kroger store coupons, which means they stack with manufacturer coupons and rebate apps.
- Not every digital coupon is a store coupon. Some are manufacturer coupons, and those cannot be combined with another coupon on the same item. The Colgate, Finish, and Air Wick coupons in the Mega Event are manufacturer coupons, so do not try to stack a paper coupon on top.
- Weekly Digital Deals and 5X coupons work up to five times per transaction. If you want ten boxes of cereal, split it into two transactions.
- The Mega Event needs 5 or more participating items. Mix and match freely, you do not need five of the same thing. Buy fewer than five and you pay $1 more per item, which wipes out most of these deals.
- Anything with an asterisk is a Mega Event price. That is your reminder the 5-item minimum applies.
- Print the two paper coupons before you go. One from WK Kellogg for the cereal, one from Kellanova for the Pringles.
- Submit your rebates the same day. Ibotta, Fetch, and Inbox Dollars all need your receipt, and it is easy to forget a $3 rebate.

A 64 ounce bottle of juice for $1.74 is the cheapest thing in the cart per ounce. The 5X coupon is a Kroger store coupon, which is what lets the Ibotta rebate stack on top of it. - Store coupons and manufacturer coupons are different animals. Kroger store coupons like the Weekly Digital Deals and the 5X coupons stack with manufacturer coupons and rebate apps. A digital manufacturer coupon does not stack with another coupon on the same item.
- The Mega Event is a threshold, not a sale. You need five or more participating items in one transaction. Under five and every price goes up a dollar.
- Rebate apps are separate from coupons. Ibotta, Fetch, and Inbox Dollars pay you after the fact based on your receipt, which is why the register total looks higher than the net price.
- Clip first, shop second, submit third. Ibotta offers have to be added before you check out. Fetch works from the receipt either way.
