This week at CVS you can walk out with over $82 of product (original retail value) for $16.80 plus tax. It takes seven separate transactions, and the whole thing runs on rolling ExtraBucks. Every reward you earn goes straight into the next transaction.
The rolling is what makes this work. Ring all seven deals up in one basket and you would pay $43.67 and leave holding $27 in ExtraBucks. Split them into seven transactions in the order below and you pay $16.80 total, because that same $27 comes off your out-of-pocket cost as you go.

How rolling ExtraBucks works:
- ExtraBucks Rewards are coupons that print at the register when you buy participating products. They give you dollars off your next purchase.
- Do the transactions in order, one at a time. Transaction 1 prints a $6 reward, you hand that $6 to the cashier on Transaction 2, and so on down the line.

Everything in this transaction is free. Do it last on purpose, because it earns no new reward and it is the right place to burn your final $2. One thing to watch: your balance after the store coupon is $1.87, so the $2 ExtraBucks adjusts down to $1.87 and you forfeit the last $0.13. That is normal CVS behavior and it is why you want a small filler item like the candy in here rather than nothing at all.
One rounding note on both BOGO deals. CVS rounds the half-price item down to the penny, so two $2.99 nail files ring at $4.48 rather than $4.49, and the Degree deodorants in Transaction 5 ring at $8.68 rather than $8.69. It is a penny either way, but it is why these totals end where they do.

Tips for This Week
- Order matters more than anything else. Run the transactions 1 through 7 exactly as listed or the rolled rewards will not line up.
- Transaction 1 is the only one you really fund at $8.58. Every transaction after it costs under $3.
- The Poise is the biggest single coupon at $7 off 2. If that digital is not in your app, the rest of the chain still works but you pay $7 more on the day.
