Why this role exists
Every deal on DealSeek runs through an affiliate relationship. As our Partnerships Manager, you'll own that entire ecosystem: our standing with the major affiliate networks, our direct relationships with brands and their agencies, and the commission economics that keep the business humming. You've sat on the publisher side of this industry before. You know how to get a network rep to actually answer your emails, how to negotiate a commission bump when your traffic earns it, and how to spot a tracking issue before it costs a month of revenue. Now you want to do that with real ownership, at a product growing fast enough that your wins compound. Affiliate revenue isn't a side channel for us — it's the engine. The person in this seat directly shapes how much every deal on DealSeek earns, which brands our millions of shoppers see first, and how fast we grow. You'll have full ownership of a function that touches everything.
What you'll do
- Own our network relationships. Manage and grow our presence on CJ, Impact, Awin, Rakuten, ShareASale, Partnerize, Skimlinks, Sovrn, and more. Be the name our network reps know.
- Negotiate better economics. Secure commission rate increases, tenancy placements, exclusive promo codes, and bonus structures with merchants and their affiliate agencies.
- Recruit new merchant partners. Identify high-value brands our shoppers want, pitch DealSeek as a top-tier publisher, and get them live on the platform.
- Protect the revenue. Monitor tracking health, reconcile commissions against expected earnings, chase reversals and missing payments, and flag attribution issues to engineering.
- Prioritize with data. Use EPC, conversion rate, and reversal data to decide which merchants get premium placement and which relationships need renegotiating (or retiring).
- Land exclusives. Work with brands to get DealSeek-only codes and offers that our Deal Editors and Content Creators can turn into standout moments.
- Keep us compliant. Ensure our merchant relationships, disclosures, and promo usage stay within network terms and FTC guidelines.
- Be the bridge internally. Feed partnership intel to content, product, and engineering so the best-monetizing deals get the best treatment across the app.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in affiliate marketing on the publisher side — you've represented a content site, deal/coupon platform, cashback app, or similar property inside affiliate networks.
- Hands-on experience with the major networks: CJ, Impact, Awin, Rakuten, ShareASale, or similar. You know your way around their dashboards, reporting, and rep structures.
- A negotiator's instinct. You've secured rate increases, exclusives, or paid placements, and you can point to the revenue they drove.
- Fluency in the numbers. EPC, AOV, reversal rates, cookie windows, attribution models — you use data to run relationships, not just describe them.
- Genuine relationship skills. Network reps and brand affiliate managers like working with you, and it shows in what you're able to unlock.
- Extreme ownership. You chase down a missing commission payment with the same energy you pitch a new brand. No task is beneath you if it protects revenue.
- Comfort with async remote work. You communicate clearly in writing and don't need a meeting for things a message can do.
Nice to have
- Experience at a deal, coupon, cashback, or price-comparison platform specifically
- Existing relationships with network reps or brand-side affiliate managers
- Experience with sub-affiliate networks and API-based integrations (Skimlinks, Sovrn, Wildfire)
- Familiarity with affiliate compliance issues specific to coupon publishers (code policing, TM+ bidding policies)
- Experience using AI tools to automate reporting, outreach, or reconciliation — we're an AI-native company
