Why this role exists
We need to ship features fast without breaking things. We need more engineers who can own that entire path, turning a rough idea into something millions of shoppers can use.
What you'll do
- Own features from design through polished Next.js and Expo experiences, all the way to testing and monitoring in production
- Ship and monitor releases across web, app stores, and over-the-air updates
- Improve discovery, notifications, onboarding, filters, collections, and new bets
- Use product data and direct dogfooding to decide what to improve next
- Leave the monorepo easier to work in than you found it
Qualifications
- Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals with production web or React Native experience
- Evidence that you can ship complete product work, rather than only isolated components
- Sound UI judgment and attention to loading, error, accessibility, and edge states
- Willingness to work in Go or Python when ownership crosses the frontend boundary
- Fluency with AI development tools without outsourcing all judgment to them
- Either strong design taste & intuition or strong backend skills. You're responsible for both but excel in one.
