Why this role exists
DealSeek needs a cohesive design sense. A lot of the time, shipping fast has been at the expense of designing the best software. We need someone to take on leadership, obsessing over everything from visual hierarchy to interaction, animation, and haptics.
What you'll do
- Help design best-in-class mobile and native experiences across DealSeek
- Own motion, gestures, micro-interactions, haptics, and interaction states, helping gamify the app
- Evolve the shared design system used by our React Native and web apps
- Create prototypes quickly in whatever tools you prefer and carry them through to production using AI tools
- Create reusable patterns that raise quality across the product
- Be the person who notices awkward spacing, unclear hierarchy, missing states, or the wrong haptic being used at the wrong time
Qualifications
- A portfolio showing excellent product design work. Ideally, designs that go beyond static screenshots towards engaging animations and interactions
- Ability to ship production React or React Native code with Expo and Next.js
- Strong visual and interaction taste, with clear reasoning behind your decisions
- Experience designing systems and components that work across many surfaces
- Comfort moving quickly, testing in the real product, and refining after launch
